In the US, black women were largely invisible in the 1980s and 1990s.
They had not become a visible presence in pop culture, and they remained invisible at the same time.
In 2014, there were only two black women nominated for a MacArthur fellowship.
Today, there are over 60, and it is expected that number will rise to over 200 by 2021.
As well as the visibility gap, the lack of female representation at the top of Hollywood has left many black women struggling to find a place in the industry.
And with this lack of representation comes the stigma, which means many black girls have little choice but to make the leap.
In the video above, we explore what it takes to be part of this industry, and explore what is at stake for black women who want to be seen in Hollywood.
Watch Now 1:37 The US has a history of being a largely white country, with the majority of its population being white.
But in the past few decades, a growing number of minority groups have been gaining access to media, entertainment and education.
In recent years, there have been more women of colour entering the entertainment industry, with Jennifer Garner, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato leading the way.
As part of our project, we are looking at how different minority groups are creating and working in the entertainment sector, and what this means for them and their communities.
Here are some of the topics we are examining: Black female musicians In the late 1990s, hip-hop artist Beyonce was the first black woman to release an album.
Since then, there has been a growing female representation in the music industry.
Today there are more than 200 female hip hop artists on the Billboard 200, including Lil Kim, Beyonce, Jhené Aiko, Rihanna, Adore Delano, Tove Lo and more.
Black women are often the first ones in their families to have access to the music that they love.
But as this generation has grown up, so has the perception that black women don’t have the same access to music that white women do.
Here’s what we know about what black women have to do to make it in the world of music.
How to get a job in Hollywood Black women can be a difficult group to break into, especially in Hollywood, where women make up less than 20% of the workforce.
However, it can be done.
Black female artists have found it incredibly challenging to make their voices heard in the mainstream music industry, but in some ways, this is also their chance to make a mark.
In our research, we discovered that many black female artists are not allowed to work with other black artists.
This is not just because they are women of color, but also because of the cultural stigma attached to female musicians.
Black male artists also struggle to get work, especially when they are black.
This can have a negative impact on their career, and the impact it can have on their relationships.
But the biggest hurdle for black female musicians is getting their work noticed.
We know that many of these artists are self-described as “lil niggas”, and some even use aliases, such as J. Cole and T-Pain.
But it is important to acknowledge that their work is often a reflection of their personal experiences, not the work of others.
What to expect from your career In Hollywood, a black female performer can expect to make $80,000 or more a year, according to a 2015 report from the Recording Industry Association of America.
Black artists are often paid less than white female performers, and are often underrepresented in the production and distribution of film and television shows.
However the industry does have a long way to go to equalise this pay gap.
According to the National Women’s Law Center, women make 72% of film screenwriters, 70% of television writers and 61% of directors.
But these numbers are lower for female writers, with just 20% making more than $150,000 a year.
This gap means that for the average white female, their income is more than double that of a black performer.
This means that, for a black male, it’s close to 50% of his income, while a white female writer makes just 9% of her income.
For women, it is close to 25% for a white male, while for a woman of colour, it may be less than 5%.
The only people who have a chance of making more money in the film and TV industry are those with a strong connection to the industry, as well as those who have been on the radar of the studios for years.
In addition to being able to get into film, there is a certain amount of recognition that comes with having a black name.
According a 2014 report from The Associated Press, there was an 87% increase in the number of black names in film in 2017 compared to 2016, and an average of 4.2 black names
